Intro to Indigo Dyeing Workshop $90

In this workshop we will focus on the basics of hand dyeing with indigo. Portland fiber artist Taylor Nehrling will teach shibori techniques, including folded, sewn, tied, and clamped resists. The class fee covers all materials needed. Each student will leave with a set of 4 cotton napkins and 2 tea towels. Students are encouraged to bring 3-4 pieces of natural fiber clothing/fabric to experiment with as well. Wine and snacks will be provided.
