Homespun Fall Clothing/Costume Swap!

  • The Carver Room at Old Salt Marketplace 5027 Northeast 42nd Avenue Portland, OR, 97218 United States (map)

It's October! The rain is coming, there's a chill in the air. It's time to bust out the fall clothes. So, let's have a clothing swap! Bring all your gently used clothes (No undies, please!) AND COSTUMES! that you don't like, that don't fit, that have bad memories, whatever. We will throw all the clothes in a pile and sort through, finding new to us gems. We will have sewing machines at the ready and a couple super-helpful guides to assist with any mending, altering, costume creating needs you may have.

Or, do you have a favorite shirt, skirt, dress, sweater, pair of jeans that need some help? The guides can help you mend, alter, fix any piece that just needs that one little thing to make it perfect again. What a night! You can score a new wardrobe, fix up some old favorites, and get a Halloween costume all at the same time. Amazing. We can't wait to see you there!

All genders are welcome. We are asking for a suggested donation of $5 at the door, to cover the costs of snacks, drinks, and materials. Please RSVP to
