Intro to Embroidery Workshop $65

This workshop will cover the basics of embroidery. Local embroidery artist Chelsea Bock will share her preferred materials, inspirations and personal techniques. She will teach the running stitch, back stitch,  split stitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, and the French knot. We will also cover design, transferring a design to fabric, and finishing a piece for display.

Students will receive and work with a 4-inch wooden hoop, an embroidery needle, fabric and enough embroidery floss to complete their first piece.  

Class size is limited to allow for individual instruction.

Wine and snacks will be provided.
