Macrame for Beginners Workshop $85

  • The Carver Room at Old Salt Marketplace 5027 Northeast 42nd Avenue Portland, OR, 97218 United States (map)

Macrame has made a comeback in recent years from its trend set in the 1970's. It is easy to see why, as it is a perfect way to add a bit of texture and intrigue to a space.

In this class we will cover a brief history of macrame, we will learn how to attach rope to a foraged piece of driftwood, as well as how to complete a stunning wall hanging using 3 basic knots. After this class, you will have laid the foundation for your new skill, so you can use your imagination to create endless works of art! All materials and tools will be supplied.

Light refreshments will be provided.
