I know, I know--nobody wants to be reminded of Fall in June, but mid-summer is the ideal time to prepare your gardens to feed you (and/or your soil) through the winter, and even get a head start on the following spring. We'll be hands-on in the field at Sideyard Farm for a closer look at what to do during the summer months to grow your own fall food garden. Whether you are gardening out of containers, raised beds or indoors, bring any plans and ideas you have for your current (or envisioned!) garden and we'll work on developing your site plan and maximizing your growing capacity there. Students will take home a tray with a variety of fall crops we will seed together.
