Spring Medicine Workshop $140

  • Flying Coyote Farm 19779 Southeast Langensand Road Sandy, OR, 97055 United States (map)

Spring is the perfect time to focus on revitalizing and rejuvenating after the dark days of winter. In this 4 hour workshop we will head out to Flying Coyote Farm and explore the woods near the base of Mt. Hood with herbalist and farmer Jme Holub from Sweet Honey Farmacy. Here we will discover the abundance of local herbs that are appropriate for cleansing and rebuilding our systems for spring. We will harvest at the farm and wildcraft in the woods, then we will transform these herbs into tinctures, tonics and teas to be used as preventative spring medicine. Each student will get to take home a sampling of what was made in class.

A fresh farm lunch will be provided.

This workshop will take place mostly outdoors, and on uneven terrain. Please dress accordingly, layers are best, and wear appropriate footwear.
